Vehicle Information
LVPD Cruiser
Our main patrol vehicle, It has great handling for off-road driving and it's better for off-road driving than the standard LSPD Cruiser, Generalists are not to drive alone.LVPD Cruiser
Sheriff Rancher
This vehicle is able to be driven by Captains and above, it's great for PIT manouvering and excels in off-road driving. Assistant Sheriff's may allow you to drive this (Lieutenant).Sheriff's Motorcycle
An excellent support vehicle, this motorbike is able to keep up with some of the fastest cars, making chases a lot easier to keep an eye on via GPS beacon. Usable with permissions from Sergeants and above. Never use it with a passenger.Lieutenants may give you permission to drive this (Sergeant).
Sheriff's Maverick
The Sheriff's Maverick is extremely useful in pursuits, being able to give an overview on the whole situation, it keeps up with most fast vehicles easily, it is not able to PIT manouver but it does provide GPS coordinates, and it can also drop off specialist parachutists and has emergency landing manouvers. Can be used by Captains and above. Assistant Sheriffs may give you permission to use this (Lieutenant).
Sheriff's Predator
An extremely useful, but underused, boat. Needed in water pursuits, ofcourse, it is equipped with a set of machine guns and able to keep up with standard boats. It's not very useful against speedboats since it can't move as fast. Can be used for water pickups and to chase water-bound suspects without permission. Miranda Rights
The Miranda Rights are an important part of the constitution. If a Deputy were to forget to read the suspect his or her rights the suspect would be able to have all charges dropped and possibly be fired. Everytime a suspect is cuffed they must have their rights read to them, regardless of the location or situation you must read these rights each and every time.
Failure to do so will result in an infraction.
You have the right to remain silent.
Anything you do or say can and will be used against you in the court of law.
You have the right to an attorney after initial processing has been completed.
Do you understand these rights as I have said them?
Refueling Vehicles
You must keep vehicles' fuel tanks with a minimum of 50% fuel at all times. If you get in a chase you must have enough fuel to finish the duration of that chase. If you are running low on fuel in a chase and you know you won't be able to keep up, make sure you inform us all and have your car refueled immediately.
Before going off duty you must return your car to the parking lot with a full tank.
Chain of Command
If you are a Generalist, you are in your position for one reason, to obtain a better understanding of how the San Andreas Sheriff's Deparment works. If somebody is
a higher rank than you and orders you something, you had better do it. As a Generalist you may feel like you know everything there is to know. Trust us, you don't.
Keep in mind, once you screw around at any rank then chances are you will be removed. Respect everyone in the San Andreas Sheriff's Department & fellow departments,
no matter what their rank is.
